Job summary

The Oregon Employment Department’s Medford WorkSource Office is seeking an Area Manager to lead and develop the program in the Medford area. You will oversee employment services, labor market information, veterans' services, and grant-funded programs while ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines.

The role requires strong supervision, strategic planning, and collaboration with workforce partners; a track record of budget management and contract administration is essential.

Qualifications

• Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience.
• Three years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and conduct strategic planning.
• Communicate a clear vision for growth and performance of the program area.
• Deliver and administer department programs including employment services, labor market information, veterans services, and related grants.
• Manage multiple Title IB programs, budgets, expenditures, and invoices.
• Coordinate with workforce partners and community agencies on service delivery.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field
