Job summary

The Scion Group LLC in San Marcos, TX is seeking an Area Manager to lead operations for a portfolio of properties within a fast-paced, collegiate setting. You will drive staffing, budgeting, and strategic initiatives across sites, ensuring brand standards and strong revenue performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing staffing, property inspections, move-in planning, emergencies, and collaborating with corporate to implement leasing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred with 4+ years of property management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Property Management Systems.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
• Candidate must reside in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, recruitment, hiring, training and development of all team members.
• Drive initiatives from corporate to site teams and execute accordingly.
• Visit properties to perform inspections, review safety, operations and brand consistency.
• Plan move-in/move-out and turnover processes for successful transitions.
• Respond to property emergencies and escalate within policy.
• Provide feedback on operations with a focus on team development.
• Manage financials including budgets, expenditures, revenue targets and NOI.
• Develop leasing strategies and analysis using market data.
