Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Florence, SC is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates, safeguarding safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting delivery commitments.

The role includes in-role training away from the home site, 10-hour overnight shifts, and front-half or back-half schedules. You will collaborate with Safety, HR, and Loss Prevention to meet business objectives and enhance operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with all support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Work in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures, including outside loading departments and refrigerated environments
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)
