Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Area Manager to oversee teaching staff across centers, ensuring quality and consistency in the center experience. You will drive customer acquisition and retention while guiding the market’s business decisions.

You will recruit and develop staff, focus on accreditation and educational excellence, and cultivate relationships with families, schools, licensing authorities, and partners to grow the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Meet state guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Budget and revenue responsibilities preferred.
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach teaching staff across the portfolio to ensure quality and consistency.
• Drive center performance, customer acquisition and retention in the market.
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, schools, licensing authorities and partners.
