Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Area Manager to lead a portfolio of teaching staff and drive performance across centers. You will recruit, coach, and retain talent while ensuring quality and accreditation standards are met at the market level.

You will manage business performance, seek growth opportunities, and cultivate partnerships with families, schools, and regulatory bodies to support children’s learning and program success nationwide.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in multi-unit settings preferred.
• Strong customer service, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
• Knowledge of state licensing requirements for child care centers preferred.
• Budget and revenue accountability experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NAEYC accreditation standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, motivate, and engage a talented teaching staff.
• Drive quality, accreditation, and educational excellence across the market.
• Manage a business portfolio, identify sales opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, schools, district leaders, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
