Job summary

SmartStyle Hair Salon Smart Hair, LLC is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple salons. The role requires bold decision-making, strong leadership, and the ability to hire, train, and fire salon managers and stylists as needed.

A valid cosmetology license is required, and daily travel is expected. You will drive operational efficiency, ensure consistent marketing, enforce safety standards, manage a regional budget, and liaise with headquarters on regional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Results-oriented candidate with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading salon teams and managing performance.
• Ability to hire, train and fire salon managers and stylists as needed.
• Willingness to travel daily and manage multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and training of salon managers.
• Ensuring operational efficiency in each salon.
• Ensuring that marketing efforts are consistent across each salon.
• Ensuring that the salons under supervision adhere to company and industry regulations.
• Ensuring that all salons meet safety and cleanliness standards.
• Managing a regional budget and ensuring salons operate within budget.
• Addressing operational problems that arise.
• Liaising between regional branches and company headquarters.
• Ensuring customer service levels are consistent across salons.
• Making recommendations to senior management.
• Comfortable with computers and willing to troubleshoot when necessary.
• Motivated to learn and grow salon teams.
• Able to attend weekly calls and collaborate with peers and Regional Director.
