Job summary
SmartStyle Salons is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple hair salons. You will recruit, train, and evaluate salon managers and stylists, make bold personnel decisions, and drive consistent customer service across locations.
The role requires a current Cosmetology license, willingness to travel daily, and strong leadership. You will lead operational efficiency, budget management, and cross-site communication with regional leadership.
Qualifications
- Cosmetology license required.
- Active Cosmetology or Barber license required.
- Willingness to travel daily.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting and training of salon managers.
- Ensuring operational efficiency in each salon.
- Ensuring marketing consistency across salons.
- Ensuring salons comply with company and industry regulations.
- Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in salons.
- Managing regional budget and ensuring salons stay within budget.
- Addressing operational problems that arise.
- Liaising between regional branches and company HQ.
- Ensuring consistent customer service levels across salons.
- Making recommendations to senior management.
- Comfortable with computers and willing to troubleshoot when necessary.
- Motivated to learn and grow salon teams.
- Attend weekly calls and collaborate with peers and Regional Director.
