SmartStyle Salons is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple hair salons. You will recruit, train, and evaluate salon managers and stylists, make bold personnel decisions, and drive consistent customer service across locations.

The role requires a current Cosmetology license, willingness to travel daily, and strong leadership. You will lead operational efficiency, budget management, and cross-site communication with regional leadership.

Responsibilities

Job Description For Area Manager

We are looking for a results-oriented candidate with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of Area Manager over hair salons. Area Manager will oversee the hiring, training, and firing of salon managers and/or stylists requiring bold decision-making and leadership skills. A cosmetology license is required. Must be willing to travel on a daily basis.

An active Cosmetology or Barber License is required for this position.

Other Area Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Recruiting and training of salon managers.

• Ensuring that the salons under their supervision adhere to company and industry regulations.
• Ensuring that all salons meet safety and cleanliness standards.
