Job summary

Amazon's Operations team in the United States is offering a ten-week Area Manager Intern program for summer 2027 located inside fulfillment centers, sort centers or delivery stations. Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project.
• Walk the floor regularly to stay connected to your team and address issues.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
• Oversee workflow and collaborate with support teams to remove roadblocks.
