Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Perrysburg, OH to lead a team of hourly staff, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and ensure on-time customer deliveries. You will partner with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR to implement plans meeting business objectives.

The role requires lifting up to 49 pounds, standing up to 12 hours, and flexibility for weekends/nights. Prior management experience or military background is valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Bachelor’s degree or International Equivalent, OR 2+ years Amazon experience, OR 6+ years military experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
