Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Area Manager in Pooler, GA. You will lead a team of hourly staff, drive safety, quality, and on-time deliveries, and partner with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business goals.

The role requires 2+ years of management experience or 2+ years with Amazon and a relevant degree. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is expected in a dynamic fulfillment environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
• Experience with process improvements (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.

Aufgaben

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to develop plans.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise; stairs may be involved.
