Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Hazle Township, PA to lead a team of hourly associates and ensure safe, high-quality operations. You will motivate your team during shifts, drive performance, attendance, and on-time customer deliveries while collaborating with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business goals.

Responsibilities include coaching, enforcing productivity, lifting up to 49 pounds, standing up to 12 hours, and working in variable temperatures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, and Human Resources to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures and noise.
