Job summary

ShipBob is seeking an Area Manager in North Aurora, IL to lead and develop a 30+ warehouse team across shifts. You’ll drive throughput, monitor KPIs, and partner with peers to optimize labor, safety, and performance in a fast-paced fulfillment network.

You'll oversee training, timecard accuracy, and escalation handling while promoting a culture of accountability and engagement. This role offers a competitive base salary and discretionary bonus potential within ShipBob's compensation framework.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management and operational leadership in a high-volume 3PL fulfillment environment.
• Ability to manage performance, deliver feedback, train and develop talent for professional growth.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerBI and TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, build, and develop a team of 30+ warehouse associates (Temp and FTE).
• Review weekly work forecasts and identify productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and meet goals.
• Own operational metric reporting and identify areas for improvement; implement solutions.
• Train teams on processes, understand metrics, and provide coaching and accountability.
