Job summary

Marsden Services seeks an Area Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for a client portfolio within the branch. You will supervise cleaning, safety, and the contracted scope of work while coordinating with associates and maintaining strong client relations.

You’ll lead safety initiatives, support staffing and training, and collaborate with the Operations Manager to drive growth and efficiency. A minimum of 3 years in management is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of management experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Primary client contact for assigned portfolio; maintain proactive client contact and resolve operational issues with the Operations Manager
• Train associates to the TECH Program; assign tasks and inspect work for standards, manage timekeeping and payroll duties
• Attend and participate in regional and corporate management meetings; collaborate with Sales and drive growth within the portfolio
• Conduct safety audits and training; perform daily safety inspections to meet client and company standards
