Job summary

Sci Corp is seeking a Funeral Home Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple locations in California. You will drive short-term planning, staff development, and ensure service excellence to client families.

Role requires strong budgeting capabilities, regulatory compliance, and the ability to lead frontline supervisors while enhancing community relations and market growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least twelve (12) hours college courses in Finance & Accounting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of multiple locations within the Funeral Home industry.
• Responsible for short-term planning, operations, and developing staff to exceed client family expectations.
• Develop annual business plan and budget with Market Leadership and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with federal & state/provincial regulations and company policies.
• Lead frontline supervisors and develop staff through feedback and training.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on discipline, development, and terminations.
• Maintain facilities and safety standards; manage community relations and promotions.
