Sci Corp in San Jose, CA, seeks a seasoned Funeral Home Operations Manager to lead daily operations across locations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional service to client families. The role emphasizes strategic planning, budget oversight, compliance with regulations, and developing a high-performing team while enhancing community relations and brand presence.

Candidates should bring 7+ years of funeral home leadership, strong financial acumen, and proficiency in MS Office; relocation support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least twelve (12) hours college courses in Finance & Accounting strongly preferred.
• Embalming Licensure may be required depending on state regulations & requirements.
• Seven (7) years industry experience in applicable discipline with progressively increased responsibilities.
• Funeral Home Management experience required.
• At least two (2) years’ experience managing people and effectively managing budgets and expense control required.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plan and budget with local leadership.
• Manage day-to-day operations across locations, ensuring on-time services and exceeding client family expectations.
• Ensure compliance with federal & state/provincial regulations and company policies.
• Develop, communicate, and monitor location goals and procedures; manage frontline supervisors.
• Collaborate with HR for discipline, development, and staffing decisions.
• Drive brand awareness, community engagement, and customer satisfaction efforts.
