Job summary

ShipBob is hiring an Area Manager in Fort Worth to lead and grow a 30+ person team across a busy fulfillment center. You will drive staffing, training, and performance, while tracking KPIs like VCPO, UPH, and on-time shipping.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management and operational leadership in high-volume 3PL fulfillment.
• Experience in ecommerce, retail, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI tracking experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of 30+ warehouse associates (Temp and FTE).
• Review weekly forecasts and identify productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor for efficient shifts.
• Own operational metric reporting (VCPO, UPH, OPH, on-time receiving/shipping).
• Ensure teams are trained on processes and understand goals; coach for performance.
• Develop Lead talent with tools, training, and resources to meet standards.
• Foster employee engagement onsite through programs and events.
• Approve associate timecards daily.
