Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in North Carolina is seeking an Area Manager to lead an hourly team and uphold safety, quality, attendance, and performance standards. You will coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, HR and other teams to plan for business objectives while supporting on-site operations across First, Middle, and Last mile workflows.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Active USA state driver license may be required.
• 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience is acceptable as equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for long hours.
• Work in variable temperatures and weather conditions at delivery stations.
