Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of 50–100 direct report associates in a fast-paced Wisconsin operations site. You will mentor staff, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth shift operations.

This on-site role emphasizes hands-on leadership and hands-on floor presence. Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, and ensuring tools and training are in place for success.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree. (You must have all degree requirements met before your first day).
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 50–100 hourly associates.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee deliveries, sort and move packages with equipment as applicable.
• Mentor and coach team to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Communicate shift performance and risks to leadership.
