Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Area Manager in California focused on Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation. The role oversees major programs, manages a multi-disciplinary team, and ensures project delivery aligns with client KPIs and internal targets.

The successful candidate will engage in billable work and collaborate across the firm’s environmental practice. The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, with a Master’s degree preferred and professional licensure

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery and drive program performance to meet client KPIs and internal targets.
• Lead and develop approximately 50 staff, building strong relationships across client organizations.
• Collaborate with account managers and practice area leaders to grow backlog and ensure financial success of programs.
• Ensure adherence to project management practices and QA/QMS requirements across the department.
• Administer resourcing, risk management, and issue resolution to maintain schedule and quality.
