Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager in Oakland, CA to lead remediation projects within our Environmental Practices. The hybrid role combines office and field work, focusing on regulatory engagement, client coordination, and safe, effective project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering, geology, or environmental sciences with 6+ years of experience, and be prepared to manage scope, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications across complex sites.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field with 6+ years of experience.
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Sponsorship at this time or in the future is not eligible for this role.
• This role is subject to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage project and program objectives, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule alignment.
• Provide technical oversight and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage clients to discuss AECO Mserv ice capabilities and expand services.
• Manage complex client relationships and projects to deliver planned profit margins.
