Job summary

AECOM seeks an Area Manager focusing on Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation. Open to offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri, this role oversees multiple programs to meet KPIs and ensures billable work execution.

The candidate will lead ~125 staff, collaborate with leadership to improve performance, and manage risk and client satisfaction while guiding program delivery and process improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident. Sponsorship will not be available at this time or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of escalation for project issues and recommend performance improvements.
• Drive financial forecasting and participate in annual planning.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital within the department.
• Ensure adherence to Project Delivery System and Quality Management System requirements.
• Actively manage the Salesforce pipeline data and forecast outputs.
• Drive program performance to meet client satisfaction and internal KPIs.
• Develop solutions to client problems and conduct major project reviews.
