Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Area Manager focused on Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation. The role oversees multiple programs, drives performance and KPI achievement, and collaborates with leadership across states including Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri.

Lead project and people management, ensure compliant delivery, and grow the client portfolio through strategic solutions and proactive risk management. On-site office locations available across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record Screening and Background check.
• Candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Escalate project issues and recommend performance improvements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital within the department.
• Ensure adherence to project delivery systems and quality standards.
• Maintain department workload status and Salesforce data accuracy.
• Drive program performance to meet client KPIs and satisfaction.
• Develop solutions to client problems and manage risk proactively.
• Promote faster adoption of digital tools in project delivery.
• Mentor and develop project managers and staff.
