Job summary

Amazon is hiring Area Manager, Early Career to lead and develop a team in a warehouse setting in Northern California. You will mentor 50–100 associates, drive safety, quality, and performance, and work in a fast-paced environment that connects customers with deliveries.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master's degree and strong communication and customer service skills. You will navigate shift patterns that include nights and weekends, with a 4-day work week typical at sites.

Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently in an autonomous warehouse environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Regularly cover shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; many sites use a 4-day work week.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages, operate PIT equipment when applicable.
