Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for our Johnston, RI site. You will lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, drive safety, quality and productivity, and coach staff to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required; degree must be met by first day.
Enrollment in a related Bachelor’s program (Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering) preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Mentor and motivate 50-100 direct-report Amazon Associates.
Lead and manage shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Oversee truck deliveries, operate pallet jacks and related equipment.
Drive safety, quality and productivity with real-time adjustments as needed.
Coach team members and communicate shift performance to leadership.
