Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Area Manager for our Johnston, RI operations. You will lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, guiding performance, safety, and customer service excellence.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree to be completed between May 2024 and August 2026, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Enrolled in or graduated with a relevant degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours and cover nights/weekends/holidays as needed.
• Oversee deliveries, sort packages, operate equipment as applicable.
• Maintain safety, quality, attendance and performance standards.
