Amazon is seeking Area Manager, Early Career for the United States with locations in GA, KY, TN. This on-site, full-time role guides 50–100 direct report associates in fast-paced fulfillment environments. Candidates should be pursuing or possess a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities) and step in as needed.
• Walk the floor regularly to stay connected to your team, spot issues early, and keep things running smoothly.
• Drive results across safety, quality, and productivity - balancing all three in real time.
• End of Shift: Close Strong: review performance data and hand off to the next shift.
