Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Moreno Valley, CA to lead a warehouse team in a fast-paced operations environment. You will mentor, motivate, and develop a group of hourly associates while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity on the job floor.

This full-time, early-career role emphasizes hands-on leadership with extensive training. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays; relocation benefits are offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment.
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Climb and descend stairs.
