Job summary

As a leader, you will drive safety culture, oversee melting and refining, coordinate with casting and other departments, and champion continuous process improvements to reduce downtime and costs while maintaining quality standards across the

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a steel manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations within the steel industry.
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills and leadership skills including the ability to interact with personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and understand business imperatives.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standards
  • Lead and manage the melting and refining operations, optimizing productivity and ensuring seamless production processes
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of EAF and LF equipment, minimizing downtime and disruptions
  • Coordinate with Casting area and other departments to minimize downtime and maximize production of quality products
  • Develop and lead a culture of continuous improvement through operator training, process standardization, and technology improvements
  • Identify opportunities, collaborate and implement changes to improve manufacturing processes and reduce cost
  • Maintain CMC's quality standards, while utilizing all necessary safety measures, plant equipment, and other tools

Your Education
