Job summary

Asset Living is a nationwide third-party property management firm seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations for multiple multifamily communities under the Regional Manager. You will lead personnel, leasing, maintenance, and financial activities, and implement strategic marketing plans.

Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, resident relations, and ensuring compliance. Travel will be required 25–50% annually to property sites and training sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or four years housing industry experience; or 3+ years related experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of several multifamily housing communities under Regional Manager supervision.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative & risk management.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plan; monitor contracts and vendor invoices.
• Lead leasing efforts, resident relations, and retention programs to maximize occupancy and satisfaction.
• Travel 25-50% of time annually for property visits, conferences, and training.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
