CAPREIT is seeking an Area Manager for Imperial 41 in Bonita Springs, FL. Lead a brand-new luxury lease-up, build and coach a high-performing onsite team, and establish operating standards from the ground up.

Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, affordable housing programs, budgeting, and resident experience while driving occupancy and revenue in a fast-paced, on-site role in Southwest Florida.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily property management experience.
• Multisite community manager experience required; lease-up experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing property financials: budgets, rent collections, delinquency, occupancy goals, variance reporting, P&L, general ledgers.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in leasing, resident satisfaction, maintenance operations, and overall property performance.
• Administer and oversee affordable housing programs (LIHTC, Section 8, HUD) with regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and housing regulations.
• Drive occupancy and revenue growth by monitoring leasing performance, rent collections, delinquency, renewals, and budget goals.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing onsite team.
• Build strong resident relationships through outstanding customer service and community experience.
• Maintain accurate resident files, reports, compliance documentation, and operational records.
• Analyze financial reports and property metrics to identify opportunities for improved performance.
• Partner with regional leadership to achieve community objectives and long-term asset success.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

We're searching for a driven, customer-focused leader with a strong background in multifamily operations and community leadership.

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

5+ years of multifamily property management experience

Multisite Community Manager experience required; lease-up experience strongly preferred

Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and regulatory requirements

Experience managing property financials, including:

• Budgets
• Rent collections
• Delinquency management
• Occupancy goals
• Variance reporting
• Profit & Loss Statements
• General Ledgers

Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate onsite teams

Exceptional customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Experience with property management platforms such as:

• RealPage
• OneSite
• Yardi
• Or the ability to quickly learn new systems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technologies

Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle and/or golf cart

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with company policies and housing regulations

Schedule: Monday - Friday/On Call
