Real Property Management Express in Fargo, ND is seeking an Area Manager to lead a portfolio of residential properties. You will oversee on-site operations, drive occupancy, and manage property performance across multiple sites.

The role combines field leadership with administrative oversight, including reviewing financials, ensuring compliance, coordinating maintenance, and mentoring on-site teams. Regular travel between properties is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, and renewals to minimize vacancy.
• Review property financials (rent rolls, expenses, income) to spot issues and opportunities.
• Ensure rent collection processes are consistent and delinquencies addressed.
• Maintain property standards including safety, cleanliness, curb appeal, and condition.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors for cost-effective work and unit turns.
• Ensure leases and notices are accurate and regulatory compliant.
• Lead, coach, and support on-site teams including hiring and performance management.
