Real Property Management Express is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Fargo, North Dakota. This on-site role supports residential communities by handling maintenance requests across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.

You will interact with residents, take ownership of tasks, and help keep properties safe and well-maintained. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and good communication.

• Participate in on-call rotation and respond professionally to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities may also include trash and large-item removal, pool maintenance, and seasonal property upkeep, depending on the community.Deliver Exceptional Resident Service: Interact with residents professionally, respectfully, and courteously. Communicate clearly, treat every home with care, and remember that a positive resident experience is part of every service call. A smile is part of the uniform!Take Ownership of Property Care: Look beyond the immediate work order to identify additional maintenance needs, potential safety concerns, and opportunities to improve the property's condition. Take initiative, communicate observations, and help prevent small issues from becoming larger problems.Prioritize Safety and Quality: Follow established procedures, use tools and equipment responsibly, and complete work to a high standard. Recognize when a repair requires specialized expertise or a qualified professional, and communicate those needs promptly.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with property management and other maintenance team members to prioritize requests, coordinate repairs, and keep properties operating smoothly.Participate in On-Call Rotation: Take part in a periodically scheduled on-call rotation to help respond to urgent maintenance needs outside normal business hours.
