Job summary

Real Property Management Express is seeking a Portfolio Executive for a multi-property residential portfolio, with on-site responsibilities and regular regional travel. You will define standards, monitor financials, manage occupancy and renewals, and lead Area Managers to deliver scalable, compliant operations.

The role emphasizes building structure, repeatable processes, and disciplined execution to protect asset value as the portfolio grows.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing multiple properties or a portfolio in property management or real estate operations.
• Strong understanding of property financials (rent rolls, income, expenses, and performance drivers).
• Experience leading managers or multi-level teams.
• Ability to create structure, systems, and processes in a growing or evolving environment.
• Clear, direct communication style with the ability to set expectations and hold accountability.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain operating standards across a portfolio of properties to ensure consistency, compliance, and performance.
• Monitor portfolio-level financials, identify trends, and guide decisions that improve revenue, control expenses, and protect asset value.
• Set expectations for occupancy, leasing performance, and renewals, and ensure Area Managers execute against them.
• Build and refine systems for reporting, communication, and accountability across the portfolio.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, including lease execution, documentation standards, and risk management practices.
• Lead and develop Area Managers, providing clarity, direction, and performance feedback.
• Identify gaps in operations and implement process improvements that scale across multiple properties.
• Partner with leadership on growth planning, acquisitions, and operational readiness.
