Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking an Area Manager to support the Director of Operations with overall financials and operational oversight for multiple locations. The role focuses on driving revenue, managing expenses, and delivering top-tier parking services 24/7.

The candidate will lead teams, develop staff, and ensure adherence to contractual requirements while coordinating with stakeholders and local authorities. A bachelor's degree and 2+ years in management are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years in Management role.
  • Parking management experience of multiple locations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure business retention and increased revenue.
  • Oversee and maximize customer satisfaction, manage expenses, and maintain high service standards aligned with client expectations.
  • Lead, direct, and develop a team of employees, identifying high-potential staff for organizational growth.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required, including budget preparation and monthly profit/loss reviews.
  • Plan and execute the opening of new locations.
  • Serve as a liaison with parking patrons, stakeholders, local police, and emergency management teams.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Spirit of the Position:

The Area Manager supports the Director of Operations with a complete oversight for financials and operations of assigned portfolio to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Director of Operations will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned portfolio.

Principle Job Duties:

Requirements:
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience
  • 2+ years in Management role.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Parking management experience of multiple locations is strongly preferred.

Physical Demands:
  • Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.

Compensation: This position may be bonus eligible.
