Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a mixed team of technicians and automation engineers, driving safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. You will develop maintenance strategies, balance proactive planning with real-time problem resolution, and collaborate with operations to sustain high performance.
You will manage preventative maintenance programs, coordinate with external contractors, and monitor MHE metrics to optimize system
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or 2 years Amazon RME experience
- Able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- 4 years of industrial maintenance experience
- 2 years direct leadership/supervisory experience
- 2 years of CMMS experience
- 2 years of Microsoft Office experience
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of technicians and automation engineers
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities
- Design and implement preventative maintenance programs to improve efficiency
- Coordinate external contractors while maintaining service quality
- Monitor MHE metrics and analyze system performance across operations
