Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a team of service technicians and automation engineers, develop maintenance strategies, and ensure safety, efficiency, and operational excellence across the site.

You will balance preventative maintenance planning with real-time problem solving, coordinate with operations, manage external contractors, and monitor MHE performance to deliver reliable service and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering (or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time experience).
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians and automation engineers; foster growth and performance.
• Ensure strict safety protocol adherence during maintenance activities.
• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with teams to address performance issues.
