Job summary

Datavant is seeking an ROI Specialist to process medical record requests in a HIPAA-compliant manner. The role involves extensive travel (75%+) across multiple TN sites and onsite work. You will handle electronic retrieval, redaction, and disclosure while maintaining confidentiality and data accuracy.

Strong experience with ROI processes and EHR systems is preferred. The position offers training, equipment, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ROI and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with ROI workflows and patient privacy.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
• Familiarity with EPIC and Cerner EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Process ROI requests for patient information promptly and accurately.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all disclosures.
• Keep software knowledge up to date and assist with system training.
• Follow Code of Conduct and facility policies at all times.
• Escalate issues to the manager and communicate workload fluctuations.
• Assist with additional HIM duties and data entry tasks as needed.
• Ensure patient records are organized, secured, and ready for release.
• Generate reports for supervision and facility requests.
