Job summary

goop kitchen is seeking an Area Kitchen Manager to oversee operations for multiple locations, ensuring service standards and brand vision are achieved market-wide. You will lead with purpose, drive consistency, and cultivate a people-first culture in a fast-paced, modern food environment.

You’ll scale systems, lead teams, and deliver high-quality results across locations while leveraging data and feedback to drive performance and improvements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience leading restaurant or service operations in multi-unit, high-performance environments.
• Proven track record in building and developing strong teams and scaling operations.
• Deep understanding of operational systems, compliance, and process excellence.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor law compliance.
• Experience with delivery-first or digital food concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, including labor planning and budget oversight.
• Passion for clean, high-quality food and modern hospitality.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Mult-unit leadership: oversee Managers across market ensuring customer journey aligns with goop Kitchen standards.
• Team performance & culture: build and lead a high-performing team; foster accountability and growth.
• HR & staff management: manage staffing, onboarding, scheduling, performance, labor compliance; coordinate with HR.
• Standards & training: develop and maintain operating procedures and service standards.
• Operational execution: coordinate across departments and locations to drive timing, efficiency.
