Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial.
• Business level oral and written communication skills; fluent in English.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service and active listening skills.
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; able to negotiate and resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; handle hiring decisions and performance reviews.
• Understand and champion company values and people culture.
• Assign duties, inspect cleanliness, and review work to ensure quality.
• Prepare schedules while managing labor budget.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff.
• Prepare paperwork such as time sheets, reports, and training records.
• Communicate effectively with employees and empower their success.
• Visit accounts to maintain relationships and ensure high-quality service.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Document customer contacts and follow through on issues.
