Rauch Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced HR Generalist to lead the evening-shift HR function on the manufacturing floor, working closely with operations to manage staffing, attendance, and performance.

This on-site role requires floor presence and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in manufacturing HR, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to work 3:00 PM–1:30 AM.

Aufgaben

• Lead HR for evening-shift manufacturing operations and partner with operations leaders on staffing, attendance, and performance.
• Handle employee relations: investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action guidance, and associate concerns.
• Coach managers and supervisors on policy, performance, attendance, and leadership.
• Walk the floor daily and join crossover shift meetings to maintain continuity between shifts.
• Serve as Time Administrator: review attendance, make corrections, and finalize time for payroll.
• Support leave administration, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning.
• Lead engagement, recognition, and retention efforts, using metrics to drive improvements.
• Build leadership development and training curriculum and support continuous improvement and change management.

EVENING SHIFT HR LEADERSHIP + RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

If you’re an experienced manufacturing HR Generalist ready to be the go-to HR leader for an entire shift, this could be the opportunity for you.

Our clientis a well-established manufacturer. This role is the primary HR leader for evening-shift operations: out on the floor, not behind a desk.

The schedule:

• Approximately 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, fully on-site
• Evening shift premium on top of base salary
• Relocation assistance available

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:

• Leading HR for evening-shift manufacturing operations and partnering with operations leaders on staffing, attendance, and performance
• Handling employee relations: investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action guidance, and associate concerns
• Coaching managers and supervisors on policy, performance, attendance, and leadership
• Walking the floor daily and joining crossover shift meetings so nothing gets lost between shifts
• Serving as Time Administrator: reviewing attendance records, making approved corrections, and getting time right before payroll
• Supporting leave administration, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning
• Leading engagement, recognition, and retention work, and using workforce metrics to recommend improvements
• Building leadership development and training curriculum, and supporting continuous improvement and change management

What you need to have:

• 4+ years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Ability to work the evening schedule, approximately 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in both union and non-union environments
• MBA, PHR, or SPHR
