Job summary

Simon Property Group at North Georgia Premium Outlets is seeking a Center Manager to protect and enhance the owner’s assets by translating center objectives into operations, marketing, leasing and profit programs. You will lead the mall team, oversee income sources, and coordinate with tenants and local authorities to implement strategic plans.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience or training in shopping centers or equivalent retail environment
• Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents
• Effective writing and communication skills in public speaking
• Good working knowledge of budgeting, accounting and financial analysis
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
• Ability to adapt to changing work environment

Responsibilities

• Maximize EBITDA through increasing income sources while controlling expenses within Procure to Pay (P2P) parameters
• Manage net profit programs for maximum results and benefit, including Redistribution, Parking Services, and Waste Handling
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Strategic Business Plan which addresses the opportunities and needs of the center
• Maximize local leasing results through the development and oversight of the local tenant leasing process from lead generation to tenant opening
• Support Leasing Representatives in developing and implementing the center's leasing strategy
• Represent the Company and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants
• Respond to tenant issues, conduct meetings to discuss marketing, operations and security
• Coordinate with local governmental permit agencies to overcome obstacles delaying tenant construction
• Work with Security Services to create a safety and security program and CEMP for each property
• Support marketing in developing a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance sales and SBV revenues
• Maintain visual presentation and merchandise standards for retail zones and kiddie rides
• Create a world class shopping experience with operating standards and preventative maintenance
• Develop and retain a highly skilled mall team with proper training
• Maximize the mall’s influence in the community and with partners
