Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a consistently high-quality client experience. You will lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coach teams, and balance strategic oversight with hands-on presence to drive business results.

You will manage staffing, facilities, compliance, onboarding, and day-to-day operations to keep offices prepared and ready to deliver exceptional service for clients across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with outcome accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Drive business results while managing day-to-day operations across locations.
• Experience leading through change and new processes adoption.
• Independent judgment across multiple locations.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and act on insights.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4-6 offices with discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Coach based on observed behaviors, performance, and feedback.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and act to improve results and client acquisition.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities and onboarding.
