Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will set clear expectations for consultative service, operational execution, and team performance to drive business results.

You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals in a hands-on, in-office role, while managing staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative client experience.
• Leadership ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Drive business and financial results across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adopting new processes.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices and work non-traditional hours as needed.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance operations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and address performance gaps.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and take actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and office readiness.
