Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive operational readiness, and align priorities to deliver excellent client outcomes and business results. This hands-on leadership role balances in-office presence with strategic oversight.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations including labor management.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and improve the experience.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, outcomes, and real-time feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operations performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results and client acquisition/retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs.
• Own office readiness, facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal prep.
