Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across all locations. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive performance, and own office readiness and operations.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, travel between offices, and coaching to deliver excellent client guidance and business results. Strong leadership and change-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience leading teams in multi-unit retail, service, or operations with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with coaching, development, and accountability.
• Proven ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day ops across multiple locations.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes and ways of working.
• Ability to travel frequently in-day between assigned offices to maintain presence.
• Flexible schedule to meet business demands, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and close gaps.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals for consistent performance.
• Own office readiness, staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and take actions to improve results and client acquisition.
