Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to manage a portfolio of 4-6 retail offices and ensure a consistently exceptional client experience. You will lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coach teams, and balance strategic leadership with hands-on presence.

You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations, aligning priorities to deliver client outcomes and business performance across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership of multi-unit teams in retail/service/ops.
• Strong focus on delivering consultative client experience.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors, performance, and feedback.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operations across offices.
• Monitor metrics and act to improve results, client acquisition, retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
