Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, driving a high-quality client experience and strong business results. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, ensuring readiness, compliance, and excellent service in every location.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, staffing, and daily operations across offices, while optimizing performance and client outcomes. Frequent travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Experience managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations, including labor management.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices with discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead teams by setting expectations and coaching to consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and outcomes to strengthen execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve business results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and readiness.
