Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality client experience. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and drive revenue and operational performance across locations.

You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on presence, travel between offices, and ensure staff readiness, compliance, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adopting new processes.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage competing demands.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to handle client escalations.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and travel frequently to multiple offices.
• Willingness to work a schedule including evenings, weekends, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with discipline and consistency.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and close gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead staff by setting clear expectations and coaching for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and real-time feedback to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve business results and client acquisition.
• Ensure daily office operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal prep.
