Job summary

Mississippi MENTOR, a member of the Sevita family, seeks an Area Director to oversee periodic Community-Based and In-Home Services. This exempt, salaried leadership role manages a community generating about $7.5 million in revenue and directs Program Supervisors/Coordinators, Direct Care staff, and other team members.

The position emphasizes leadership, program planning, financial oversight, census management, and stakeholder relations to ensure high-quality, compliant services for individuals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years of related leadership experience in human services.
• Strong budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Experience directing programs and partnering with stakeholders to deliver quality services.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to program staff and coordinators.
• Oversee area operations, ensure services meet regulatory standards and quality requirements.
• Manage the area’s financial performance, including billing accuracy and procurement oversight.
• Monitor census, referrals, and program growth; engage with partners and community leaders.
